021212: FAM BAM DAY!

I was lucky to have been invited by Jan in Twitter a day before the event. And to think I was making our thesis at this time. I’m still glad Patrice and I came through with the event because it was really great fun. We had a splendid time when we met with Veashka and Jan again and just recounted stuff that happened.

I also have to publicly apologize to Jan for going to St. Theresa’s reaally late. It was a good thing we were both in time for the Talent’s Unlimited. I was so into the whole show, I wasn’t really able to talk with Veashka, Jan, or Char (lol). Theresians are just so talented!

And I met a new friend named Char! She’s graduating in this year as well and we’re both going to take up the same course in the same college. Awesome.

bulletproofkisses:

Today was realllly great. I have some frustrations about today but I’ll save that for my private blog. Anyways, had so much fun. Woke up at around 6:00+ and then, had breakfast at McDonald’s with my Dad and brother. We attended mass together and then, they left for Ayala to watch Star Wars in 3D (UNFAIR LIFE). Me and Jan went down to the Sunken Court to situate ourselves to watch the festival things. Then, Anzaii, Sy, Hanna, Chino and Char followed. I AM SO HAPPY THAT KASS WON!!! I LOVE YOU BAYOT! Yep, the Festival Queen of 3rd year won.

After that, we started walking around and started messing around. We were just walking around with no destination which ALWAYS frustrates me so much! I cannot even…

I loved the even if we didn’t plan on it, Me, Jan and Leanza were all wearing blue & stripes. Hahahaha. Great Minds Think Alike ;)

Hiiii Char! ;)

Frenemies >:))))

J! ;)

Okay, so I’m not going to go into detail as to what else happened but know that Pat and Pammy Gallardo were there and that I had such a good time. I am such a lazy blogger. But yeah, I want to make the photos speak for themselves.

Oh and it seems like this is going to be tradition but we had another MUD PARTY this year. It wasn’t that wet but it was wild and extremely dirty and I wasn’t prepared for it, one bit. Ugh but nevertheless, had a really really good time. Partying with the Seniors, Sophies, Freshies and of course, the ever greatest, Juniors.

We then went up to the Auditorium to watch the ever anticipated, Talent’s Unlimited. It was a really great show. I was thoroughly amused. The performances were funny, unprepared, great and it was just an all around good show. And it proved how busy Junior Year is because not one third year student performed on the stage that night. Hahahahaha! Stress eh.

At around 7:00, we left the Auditorium and walked to McDo to eat our dinner. I was with Jan, Leanza and Hanna. We talked and caught up with each other and then, we all  left. It was really one to remember.

This post is overdue.

Last Friday Night

Under the strobe lights, we can let go of it all. After midnight, partying until tomorrow. Whatever happens tonight, just stay by my side. So this calls for a celebration.

Winston told me he had a gift for me.
“You have to get it later,” he said.
Lo and behold, I got a hair pin set ♥! Though the design isn’t really my cup of tea, you can’t really help but say that this is one of the most beautiful holiday sets I’ve ever seen-and I mean it!
Thanks Wins! You’re the best guy friend ever. :)

Friends

After reading a few of my past personal posts, I have realized the one common denominator: each post has to talk about me feeling empty or lonely. And that, I can say, can be lead to one cause: lack of friends.

Aishiteru Fantasy Cosplay

The HRM students of the University of San Carlos held this cosplay convention inside thier university as their project. The news spread like wildfire, and soon enough, tickets were sold out.

A lot of people from my school bought tickets for the event, and so my friends and I decided to go to the university with them. It was a breath of fresh air in a way, since I was kinda forced to mingle with my batch mates.

Gaara was the first one to greet us when we arrived in the building! Turns out, he’s one of Ate Charmie’s friends and one her Advertising classmates. Later on, I learned that he’s the ex-boyfriend of one of my batchmates.

I literally spazzed when I saw the Regelus Black cosplayer because… he’s the deceased brother of my all-time favorite Harry Potter character ever! I have tons of pictures of him and with him that it’s unhealthy.

Coincidentally, there was also a Snape in the convention! When I first saw this cosplay, I thought he was Alan Rickman for a sec (because I get all fangirl and dazed in conventions). He and Regelus were actually asked to have photos together, and the two of them actually seemed as if they were in the same cosplay group! House pride!

Ikemen Alec.

One of my friends competed in the competition, which was pretty gutsy of her since it was her first time to cosplay. The judges even said that her skit was impressive for a first timer./proud mother moment

A lot of people were fascinated with this White Rabbit cosplay. I mean, look at that weapon! Aside from it being as tall as me (dwarf forever), the design on it is just breath-taking.

There was an anime collectibles stall in the convention, and they were selling all these animu hats, plushies, posters, and even Domo collectibles. They have a Facebook page where you can find here.

Almost everyone in the convention bought something from the stall. I didn’t fancy most of the merchandise though.

The event was overall a decent convention, not something big. But it was still fun, with the cosplayers and what not.

My friend Chona bought a pack of multi-colored hair extensions. I asked for the blue extensions since it was a dream of mine to have blue streaks on my hair ever since the third grade.
My classmates approve the look.

TMI: Karaoke with friends

I think I forgot to mention in this post that we had karaoke. We did, and we had this private room all to ourselves.

While waiting for the attendant to punch in our song choices, Mark started beatboxing. We were starting to get in the mood when the attendant went in to tell us that only a certain number of people were allowed to be in the rooms.

We told her that we wouldn’t vandalize any property.

Being Asian

A small paper haul, not for me but for a friend. It was her birthday and I slightly infected her with my paper fetish so I decided to make the infection worse./dead

Most of the stuff I got for my friend were Korean and Chinese stationery. My friend is a huge sucker for East Asian stuff,so when I saw all this stationery scattering around the local mall, I knew it was perfect for her.

I  got her this Korean mechanical pencil set. The first thing that went in my mind when I first saw this was, “Cute!” I am actually in love with the patterns and the price of the set is really affordable-even cheap- compared to other mechanical pencils.

I also gave away these Chinese chopsticks. My friend’s favorite color is blue, so I got the chopsticks in that color. I really like how it has a plastic protector thingy (look at second photo) so it’s kinda hygienic when you bring those chopsticks to dine out.

I later learned that these chopsticks are also pens! The tip can be pulled out and a ballpoint tip can be seen. My friend was writing her name on a piece of paper, and she said she loved it. The ink resembles that of a gel pen.

I love stationery.
