Last Friday Night

Under the strobe lights, we can let go of it all. After midnight, partying until tomorrow. Whatever happens tonight, just stay by my side. So this calls for a celebration.

Instead of having a prom, our school made us have a Turn Over Ceremony where the seniors get to turn their responsibilities down to the juniors. It kinda sucked ‘cause no one was really listening to the ceremony and all they were after was the food or disco. But meh, it was fun.
I actually got a part in the ceremony as the leader for the prayer for the seniors. But then my classmates later told me that I was too fast or whatever-error you put here./self-esteem

Other TOC leaders(left to right): Jeffrey, Almari, Pamelle, Erika and Reymar
We stayed in the formator’s office (that’s like the school disciplinarian in our place) while waiting for the procession to be finished. While waiting, we took pictures of each other. Ironically, this would be the only set of pictures I would be in.

“Now let me have a picture with Pamelle-just me and Pamelle!” Hence, Ate Erika’s photobomb on what was supposingly me and Ate Almari’s picture.

The formation half the student body made. (‘cause we are now gay hipsters).

We had a cotillion which was danced by our class representatives. It was quite frustrating for me to see that they were able to wear pretty dresses for most of the night while we got to wear jeans and shirts.

And everyone’s favorite part-the disco. (I’m not gonna bother blurring faces.)

I wasn’t even dancing. I was jumping and clapping my hands like a seal. Maybe someday, I’ll know how to grind as well as the others.

Because Chona is such a party diva.
